OK, I've only fought the Goliath Tank once so I'm certainly no expert, but I did kill it without losing any units so I thought it might be helpful to some if I post my formation and a few comments.
Front Row: Mega Tank, Mega Tank, Ramsey, Mega Tank, Mega Tank
Second Row: Mech Trooper, Mega Tank, Mech Trooper, Mega Tank, Mech Trooper
Third Row: Boar II, Weapons Tech, Boar II
The Goliath Tank has three parts just like the Ancient Sentinel. I used the Weapons Technician's Explosive Amp attack against the left-side portion of the tank, then killed that part using two hits from my Mega Tanks (Explosive Shell attack). Then I just kept hitting the main body with Power Crush attacks from my Mechanized Troopers. I also tried a couple shots with the Boar II's Incendiary Shots attack, but that didn't seem to do as much damage as the Mech. Trooper attacks so I switched back to all Power Crush attacks to finish it off.
I only have three Mech. Troopers. If you have more, it would probably be good to put out five or so.
Like with the AS, once you kill the body, it's over.
